Sarrah Steele, LICSW, MSW

Sarrah is the founder of Rooted Transformations, PLLC, where she established the practice with the goal of doing therapy differently.

Rooted in compassion, collaboration, and social justice, she works alongside individuals, families, and groups navigating stress, trauma, and life’s many challenges, with an approach informed by ecological systems theory. Sarrah works from a person-centered, affirming lens that honors clients as the experts of their own lives and explores how personal experiences are shaped by physical, social, political, and cultural systems.

Her integrative practice draws from modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. A fierce advocate for her clients, Sarrah is committed to creating spaces where people feel supported, empowered, and respected as they move through change and toward healing.

Sarrah is available for sessions, in-person or via telehealth, during weekdays.

Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Camper is passionate about helping individuals, families, and groups find greater clarity, meaning, and joy in their lives. She works collaboratively with clients to identify goals, explore challenges, and navigate significant life transitions with care and intention. Camper has experience supporting individuals who struggle with trust, anxiety, depression, and feeling limited by past experiences.

Camper practices from a client-centered, trauma-informed perspective and integrates therapeutic approaches based on each person’s comfort and needs. She is certified in EMDR and is committed to creating a supportive, respectful space where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and move forward.

Camper is available for telehealth sessions during the evening on weekdays.

Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Nat believes people make the most sense when viewed within the full context of their lives, including their relationships, identities, environments, and the systems they navigate each day. They work with individuals, couples, families, and groups who are experiencing stress, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Nat approaches therapy collaboratively, offering space to explore both internal experiences and the broader cultural and relational factors that shape them.

Practicing from an integrative, evidence-based, and trauma-informed perspective, Nat is committed to anti-oppressive, affirming care for people of all identities, including queer, trans, gender-nonconforming, and neurodiverse individuals. Their work often focuses on building insight, strengthening emotional regulation, improving connection, and developing skills that support sustainable, meaningful change.

Lauren is often one of the first friendly voices you may hear when you reach out to us. She brings deep care for youth, families, and community wellbeing into her work.

Having lived in Pomeroy for nearly a decade, she is passionate about mental health and supporting children who may otherwise fall through the cracks. With a background in healthcare and youth education, Lauren brings both practical experience and empathy to her role. As the spouse of a longtime wildland firefighter, she understands the unique challenges faced by first responders and their families. She is dedicated to promoting wellness through nature and connection and is actively involved in local youth and family activities. Guided by values of loyalty, empathy, and honesty, Lauren is grateful to walk alongside local families and contribute to spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and encouraged.

Nayely Larios

Nayely is often one of the first friendly voices you hear when you reach out to us. She serves as our first point of contact when folks inquire about Rooted’s occupational health trainings, such as VitalCog Suicide Prevention in the Workplace. Raised on a ranch in Central Ferry and a graduate of Pomeroy High School, she brings strong community roots, warmth, and dedication to her work.

Nayely is bilingual and currently pursuing her nursing degree, with long-term goals of becoming a nurse practitioner and opening her own clinic. She is passionate about supporting people who are struggling and believes everyone deserves understanding and encouragement. Outside of the office, she enjoys coaching softball and volunteering with state FFA trips and is proud to serve her hometown by helping make Rooted Transformations a welcoming place for all.
