Sarrah Steele, LICSW, MSW

(she/her/hers)

Sarrah is the founder of Rooted Transformations, PLLC, where she established the practice with the goal of doing therapy differently.

Rooted in the values of compassion, collaboration, and social justice, she works alongside individuals, couples, families, and groups navigating stress, trauma, and life’s many challenges, with an approach informed by ecological systems theory. Sarrah practices from a person-centered, affirming lens that honors clients as the experts of their own lives as they explore how relational, cultural, and systemic influences shape their experiences.

Her integrative work draws from modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches. As a strong advocate for her clients, she is committed to creating spaces where people feel supported, empowered, and respected as they move through change and toward growth. While the work can be serious, she believes moments of humor and lightness can be an important part of the healing process.
